Since 1989, A-1 has been one of Fresno’s premier automotive repair facilities.

All of A-1’s technicians are ASE certified and several of our techs are ASE master technicians.

Mark Gilio
President & CEO
Mark’s career in the automotive field began in the early 1980’s as an automotive technician. Shortly after, Mark’s entrepreneurial career began as well when he opened his first business in 1985. Over the past 35+ years Mark has founded and managed 5 successful businesses, all with a primary focus in the automotive industry. Mark built each of his businesses with customer service and support as the cornerstone principal that the business operates on.
Sonny Leal
Shop Foreman
Sonny has been a member of the A-1 team for 25+ years. Sonny is an ASE master technician with a certification in alternative fuels. Sonny is also CSA certified and a certified fuel system inspector. Sonny has over 30 years of automotive experience and 20+ years of experience specifically with alternative fuel vehicles. For the past 15 years, Sonny has served as shop foreman for A-1. In this role, he oversees, trains, and provides guidance to all automotive technicians in their day to day work.
Darryl Hosepian
Service Manager
Darryl holds 34 years of experience in the automotive industry, where he has excelled as a service writer and service manager. His career spans oversight of service operations in dealerships, independent shops, and large chain automotive establishments. A proud alumni of Fresno State University, Darryl now lends his extensive service management expertise to the A-1 team, where he directs the company's service department.
