CNG Tank Replacements
According to NFPA 52, NGV 2, AND CGA 6.4 standards CNG cylinders must be replaced prior to expiration, every 15 years (see tank label). CNG cylinders may also need to be replaced if any damage has come to the cylinder following a collision, vehicle fire, or due to exposure to excessive heat. If your CNG cylinders are damaged, or near expiration, A-1 Alternative Fuel Systems can help. A-1 Alternative Fuel Systems is a certified CNG tank replacement facility. We perform CNG tank exchanges on all types of vehicles, from light duty sedans and vans, to heavy duty school buses and rigs.
